UAE public sector holidays announced

The Prophet’s Birthday (PBUH), 46th National Day and Commemoration Day will be observed in the UAE from Thursday, November 30, to Sunday, December 3.

Accordingly, ministries and federal bodies will have a four-day weekend with work resuming on Monday, December 4.

The holidays were announced through circulars issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources pursuant to the  Cabinet Decision No (13) for 2012 on the Executive Regulations of the Human Resources Law in the Federal Government and its amendments, which specify the official holidays of the ministries and federal bodies in the country.

The authority extended its greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and the people of the UAE.
